ABOUT ABOUT

As we watch from the Diaspora, we can only imagine how traumatic daily life is: ongoing sirens that force you into shelters, anxiety over the well-being of a relative fighting in Gaza or Lebanon and the chilling reality of a war on multiple borders with no end in sight. Incrementally, Israel is the target of aggressive criticism from world leaders and individuals across the world, questioning Israel’s right to defend itself.

But is that how Israelis experience daily life?

Join us for a continental breakfast and discussion with Lihi Lapid, an acclaimed journalist, best-selling author and wife of Israel's former prime minister and current head of the opposition in the Knesset, Yair Lapid. She will share perspectives on how Israelis endure these realities, and what it's like to live in Israel right now.
