ABOUT ABOUT

After two years of uncertainty over how the Gaza War will end and its impact on Israel, we now face an even more pressing question: what will the conflict with Iran mean for the Middle East?

Few are better equipped to address these issues than Ambassador Dennis Ross, who served as the US lead negotiator on the Middle East peace process for Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton, as a special assistant to President Obama and advisor on Iran to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Just back from the Middle East, Ambassador Ross joins us during Shabbat services to share his insights on Iran, the interplay between the Iran and Gaza crises and the challenges and opportunities ahead. He will also apply the proposals laid out in his new book, Statecraft 2.0: What America Needs to Lead in a Multipolar World, to Iran and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Currently the William Davidson Distinguished Fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, he is also the author of three books on the US role in the Middle East peace process, including the National Jewish Book Award-winning Doomed to Succeed.
