Michal Nachmany: Hebrew for Absolute Beginners – Reading and Decoding

The course is for students learning Hebrew for the first time. Since Hebrew is a phonetic language, we will begin with the letters and vowels before moving on to basic vocabulary, grammar and sentence structure and then experiment with reading and listening comprehension. Our textbook will be Teach Yourself to Read Hebrew, available HERE. We will also use Aleph-Bet Flash Cards, available HERE. Additional course material may be provided by the instructor.
